This is a nice B&B in a street that is quiet at night but only a few minutes walk from the city centre. The room was very clean and well-appointed. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the proprietor kindly made a packed lunch ready for my early morning train on my last day, as I would miss breakfast (very kind!). I thought it was very good value for money and I enjoyed my stay. Read less

Likes: Good position, clean and convenient
Dislikes: Perhaps an extra effort with cooked breakfast for early leavers due to marathon start might have been a good gesture

On arrival all those running were advised that a full buffet would be available ,and no one asked for a cooked breakfast, which is not available at 6.30/6.45 am anyway. A hotel needs to be booked for that kind of service,NOT a bed./breakfast establishment ,and priced accordingly.
